Choose one person and pose them on the paper, Draw an outline around them.

Paint the outline of the person in one solid colour.

When the colour is dry then add the black graffiti lines

Health and Emergency Situations - Deoderant

Today it's time to try out the deodorant recipes you have found.

Coconut Oil Homemade Deodorant Recipe Coconut Oil Deodorant Ingredients6 T coconut oil1/4 cup (4 T) baking soda1/4 cup (4 T) arrowroot or organic cornstarchessential oils (optional) Coconut Oil Deodorant InstructionsMix baking soda and arrowroot together in a medium sized bowl.Mash in coconut oil with a fork until well mixed.Add oils if desired.Store in small glass jar or old deodorant container for easy use.Source: Wellness Mama

Health and Emergency situations 1 - Toothpaste

It's now time to try out your recipes for toothpaste.

For those of you who have not found one of your own, here is a recipe you can use.

Natural Toothpaste IngredientsAbout 1/2 cup coconut oil2-3 Tablespoons of baking soda2 small packets of stevia powder15-20 drops of peppermint or cinnamon essential oilNatural Toothpaste InstructionsMelt or slightly soften coconut oil.Mix in other ingredients and stir well. If using semi-hard coconut oil, use a fork, if not, use a spoon. If you are using completely melted coconut oil, you will need to stir several times while the mixture cools to keep the baking soda incorporated.Put mixture into small glass jar Let cool completely.To use: dip toothbrush in and scrape small amount onto bristles.Recipe source: Wellness Mama

What is PBL?

So what this module about?
We are all members of the Grey High community, the Greymouth or West Coast community, Digital Worldwide community and the Global community.

In this module we will explore Local and Global issues and will be exploring what makes a good citizen in all of these different communities.
In the next seven weeks we will be doing this by using project based learning.

Initially we will do some class activities together, where you will look at world or local issues and learn about these.  You may be asked to play some online games, watch video on an issue, design a solution, and then making something.  

So really, PBL is the act of learning through identifying a real-world problem and developing its solution.

In the last few weeks you get to choose your own project, with some guidelines around available equipment and safety.  You should be aiming to create something that is useful or solves a problem. Hopefully in this module you will be engaged, get to design and build and …
